Perhaps you are aware of one of the hazards of the Old Soul. It has been said that the Old Soul drinks out of boredom but there are other hazards to navigate also that create this behavior. Primarily we see it as one coming from a place of fear. The Old Soul has some dim awareness, even if not a Michael student or particularly “spiritual”, of what lies beyond the physical plane and of the nature of incarnation and growth and learning on the physical plane. The Old Soul recognizes that there is “more” to life than this dreary physical-plane existence and so grows fearful of the physical plane and seeks to shut it out. We see that this is a portion of what you have done in this life. We cannot make this easier for you in any way except to tell you that fear is unnecessary. Fear begets fear, do not forget this. You know this, yet it has become almost impossible to shut out the fear. We see that a practice of meditation could possibly be helpful for you in this. Certain experiences one has while meditating can approximate the astral plane and so offer a glimpse of hope as to what lies beyond the physical. We see the fragment-channel Karen is reminding us of her own experience with this through a modality known as rebirthing. While many fragments using this healing-remembrance technique have experiences of one sort or another, relatively few attain awareness of the astral plane through this technique yet some have done so; it is possible that through her experience you may wish to attempt something similar.
